Dr. Mario De Gennaro holds a degree in Economics and Business from La Sapienza University in Rome. Since 1992, he has been registered with the Register of Chartered Accountants in Rome (Albo dei Dottori Commercialisti di Roma, no. AA_003831) and, since 1999, with the Italian Official Register of Statutory Auditors (Registro dei Revisori Legali no.104110). He has been working with Studio VTI since 1996, where he has developed professional expertise in corporate and tax matters, organisational planning (including business plans and restructuring plans), and management control (including the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow statements). In recent years, he has gained specific expertise in the management of non-performing loans (NPLs), with a focus on the operational and regulatory aspects of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), Real Estate Owned Companies (ReoCos), and Operation Companies (OpCos). He has held and holds the position of Chair or member of the corporate control body (organo di controllo) for medium and large corporations, associations, and foundations operating in the real estate, transport, technological innovation, and scientific research sectors.
