Dr. Vanja Romano holds a degree in Economics from LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome. Since 2011, she has been registered with the Register of Chartered Accountants in Rome (Albo dei Dottori Commercialisti di Roma, no. AA_010555) and, since 2010, with the Italian Official Register of Statutory Auditors (Registro dei Revisori Legali, no. 160037). She gained significant experience in statutory auditing at EY S.p.A., acquiring in-depth knowledge of the audit and accounting of financial statements, including consolidated ones, prepared in accordance with both Italian (Italian GAAP) and international accounting standards (IFRS). She has been working with Studio VTI since 2011, where she has developed expertise in direct and indirect taxation, as well as in tax, accounting, and corporate advisory services for private and publicly owned companies, public institutions, and legally recognised non-profit entities. In recent years, she has gained specific expertise in M&A transactions involving companies and corporate groups, including multinationals, participating in the planning of extraordinary transactions and due diligence activities. She has also specialised in issues relating to healthcare, food, and packaging sectors for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries. She has held and holds the position of Chair or regular member of the corporate control body (organo di controllo) of medium and large corporations operating in the fields of transport, food production, industrial packaging for the cosmetics, oil and gas, renewable energy, engineering, and finance industry. She also served as a Board Member of a listed company in the publishing sector.
